Freedom from School!

We are all feeling the freedom from school, not wanting to learn anything or take in any new information at this point. Of course, little D does not feel that way! He is learning new things everyday and investigating everything! This is great though! Hmmm...Mom was out the other night with the ladies and Dad and Dylan spend the evening together. [Mom doesn't really like to leave because she knows that Dad and I will get into trouble! But boy, Dad is such a good time!]. Earlier that morning, Mom was brushing Mr. D's teeth and held the toothbrush up to Dad's face saying "Daddy", then back to Dylan's teeth saying "Dylan" and so on and so forth. Well, aparently later that night, Dylan held his toothbrush and brushed his teeth then shoved it into Dad's mouth to brush his teeth, then took a turn on his own teeth, then, yes...back to Dad's... He is learning very quickly! We have to be very quick to close our mouths before Dylan can shove his toothbrush into our mouths!

Mom has been teaching some sign language to little Dylan so he can communicate some basic signs. After only a few days of looking quite foolish, Mom and Dad were rewared with Dylan's first sign: "more" he decided he really wanted more dinner! Of course it is captured on video, like everything else Mr. D has done in the past 7 months of his life!

Graduation...finally!

Hip Hip Hooray! Saturday, this past weekend, Jeff graduated from the University of Rhode Island with his masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy! No small feat, the clan here is very excited that Dad is done with school and papers! Dad had Mom and Baby Dylan reading literature reviews and highlighting important information...Dylan was a little confused over the big words and found that if he just ate the paper it was much less stressful! Dad let Dylan wear the big cap since he likes to wear hats. This one was particularly fun because it had little hanging strings coming from the top...ahhh, what fun...tassles!
Of course, Dylan partied hard all day, not willing to sleep and chance missing a thing! [Is it ok that Mom and Dad fell asleep while I was playing by myself on the living room floor that evening? Once in a while I yelled to them to let them know where I was going - mostly backwards, occasionally forwards.]

An Introduction

It seems logical to begin our blogging endeavor by introducing the members of the Rosinski Line Up. [Line Up refers to the area outside the breaking waves where surfers sit on their boards and wait for waves]. Our Line Up consists of Jeff (Dad), Molly (Mom), and Dylan (Son - aka Mr. D). This is a photo with the three of us (not in the line up). By the way, to be quite honest you will never actually see a photo of any of us in an official line up.
