Fishing For Kites

Mr. D here. I took mom and dad to Brenton Point near the ocean to fly dad's Red Baron kite. I played soccer while he got the kite up.

I like to watch the kites up in the sky, reminds me of birds! And planes!

I told dad I wanted a kite like the one stuck up in the tree, so he climbed up and got it for me! Dad and the boys went climbing trees.

I waited patiently for them to get the big colorful kite down from the tree....I got hungry, so I ate a snack while I waited....hurry up guys!
Wow, they got the kite down and boy it is huge!
Course they didn't have a string to fly it....no worries. Alan brought his fishing pole out to fly it with! Oh boy, what fun!

Harvest Fair

Although the day was wet and cool, we took Mr. D off to the Harvest Fair at Norman Bird Sanctuary last weekend. We often go for hikes in the woods and the rocks overlooking the ocean. We had a good time walking around. We attempted some photos near the large metal pumpkin, but Mr. Dylan just wanted to climb on it. For all who know Dylan, that doesn't surprise does it?!

Dylan wanted a pony ride, but he was too small to sit atop by himself! However, Mr. D and mom did go for a tractor ride, while dad took photos! Dylan enjoyed the ride. "Brrm...brrrmmm."

Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday Dylan!!! Today is Dylan's birthday. Although we have been celebrating since Saturday, it is official today! Dylan partied hard and enjoyed cake and new toys!

When asked "How old is Dylan?"...the above photo is what he does along with a "Doh". [Mom and Dad aren't sure if I am saying "two" or "Dylan"...I will keep them guessing...]

Dylan enjoyed his new hammer....
...school bus with lights and people!
Mr. Dylan showed off his new beach buggies by proudly carrying them around the house between his four big teeth!

Thomas train was a big hit!

and of course the ball hopper kept Dylan chasing balls all afternoon!

The cake was delicious! Dylan even licked his plate!

(good lesson in sharing toys today...with cousin Baylee...Dylan watched on, a bit nervous about his car in Baylee's mouth!)
