Big Pool, Little Pool

Dylan here...went to Grandpa's house and it was so hot out! I was breaking a sweat just thinking about crawling. Well, Grandma went down to the store and bought me a pool. Of course I had to fight Dad for the pool, but eventually we figured out how we could both fit in it. [Told him they bought it for me, but he said something about being the firstborn, so I told him I was too and I was much cuter anyway cause I only have two teeth!].
Mom and Dad took me to our pool at our house and BOY!...that was a big pool! They put me in this plastic thing [not soft like the couch] and I wiggled my legs all around. It was ok, made me a little nervous though. After a while I realized it was pretty cool. Mom and Dad looked like they were having fun.

What the chukka?

International Polo Series opening day... We packed up the car and took Dylan to his first game of Polo! It was a very hot day and we baked for a bit in the sun until it started to cool off. We packed a picnic dinner and layed out the blankets and lawn chairs. Dylan sat in his little folding chair and tried to keep track of the horses flying by! We were in the front lawn, so he had a great view of the playing field. I guess Dylan found the game to be off to a slow start...he slept through the first couple chukkas on Dad's shoulder (6 chukkas per game). After feeling a little more refreshed, he enjoyed the horses running by in front of him! The game was very intense up to the very end, when finally USA beat Canada 11-10.

At half time, Dad and Dylan went onto the field to stomp divets! [I was really confused why Mom and Dad wanted me to stomp all over the field when the horses didn't feel the need to wait for a bathroom! I was barefoot! I'm not steppin' on that stuff!] Dad let me give high five to the players after the game as they rode by on their horses to acknowledge the fans. The horses were so big! I had such a great time at the game with Mom and Dad!
We finished the night off with ice cream from Frosty Freeze. Dylan enjoyed some of Dad's "playdough" ice cream - Yum!

Boy...did I need a vacation!

Mr. D here. Told mom and dad it was time to skip town and unwind. They asked me if I had any ideas, and I told them "dadadadada". [Let's go to where you two went when you found out that I was going to be a part of your life]. Little did I know that it was Cape Cod and not Hawaii... big difference in water temperature! Saddled up my dad and off we went. First stop - Heritage Plantations...nice ride huh?!
He's all smiles for the camera now, but I wore him right out...
"Dadadadadadada". [Hey dad, time to get going, you said I was going to ride the carousel].
The ride was the longest (and fastest) two minutes of my life, but during that time, mom decided upon my future occupation..."Dadadadadadada"...["yo ho ho and a bottle of milk"]...
All these adventures wore me out. Told mom and dad I needed some alone time. This is where I found myself...
Told dad that while I was unwinding, he could saddle up my ride one more time. It's off to Sandwich, MA boardwalk we go.
While in my ride, couldn't help but think how cute my momma is and that any chance to get a picture with her needs to happen! Told my chauffer to use his photog skills and land me some good pictures with my momma. Here's my two favorites:
This trip was truly amazing. If you haven't noticed, take a moment to check out the date of our photo timestamps. We have traveled back in time to 2004 (rumor has it, that was the year of the beginning of the end for my Yankees).
Who knows where I'm heading next, but I sure like my adventures and I hope you do too!
